One of the most common issues when tracking a C5 Corvette is throwing a belt on track. When this happens, the driver loses power steering completely as well as charging and the vehicle will overheat before you even get back to the paddock. This was a common problem in SPEC Corvette racing so we designed this beautifully billet aluminum machined tensioner to resolve the issue. We also use a GM OEM pulley with raised belt keepers to further prevent the tensioner from walking. Tested in SPEC Corvette racing for many years, you can reset assured you are getting a quality product that will solve your issues.
