Description
  • Meets and exceeds SCCA, NASA, and Formula Drift tech rules, as well as Spec E36
  • Includes main hoop already pre-welded ready to install
  • All bars are tucked as high and as tight as possible but still allowing room to get the welding gun in there.
  • A pillars tucked high and touching the roof for maximum headroom and excellent fitment
  • Dash Bar - Standard

  • Gusseting reinforcement tubes - Standard
  • Prefabbed Mounting Plates Prewelded - Standard
  • Rear Strut tower bar - Standard
  • X Door bar bowtie plates - Standard
  • Tucked up high and tight to maximize window exit for driver egress in the event of an emergency.
  • All bars are CNC marked and numbered in the order of installation.
  • All intersecting points are marked with a fish mouth for perfect bar positioning.
  • Made of 1.75 x .095 mild steel DOM
  • Ships in 3-4 weeks.
  • Dimple die plates optional, includes windshield (A Pillar) and main hoop (B Pillar) gussets
  • HALF CAGE OPTION Includes only the rear section of the cage - Main Hoop, Kickers and X if selected.

The most comprehensive and installer-friendly kit on the market. This cage kit is a collaboration of SPEC Corvette series drivers, engineers, and fabricators to produce not only the best fitting kit on the market, but one that can be easily installed as a DIY kit. By using 3D scanning technology and CAD programming, we are able to produce the tightest most well designed E36 BMW Cage on the market. This cage is built to exceed Formula Drift, NASA, and SCCA standards. All tubes are CNC marked, notched and bent with intersecting points marked for a no guess install. It is a truly hold-and-weld set up. We also include prefabricated mounting plates that were 3D scanned and designed for perfect fitment.

Note!

  • This will fit a sunroof car ONLY IF the sunroof cassette is cut out.
  • This kit has not been tested in a sedan. Please inquire about fitment solutions.
  • Regarding the door bar options: Currently, the Straight X configuration you see pictured is not available. Call for more information if you are interested in this style. Our traditional configurations pictured on other cages are available.
  • The rear shelf does NOT need to be cut out, as seen in the photos. This cage kit can be installed with the self in place, but will require minor notching for the kickers.
