Optional integrated engine oil cooler. Please select options for EOC. ***Slight modification to the fan shroud is required for EOC models. Just simple notching to allow the lines to pass thru.
Optional braided hose and fitting kit for EOC to engine with engine adapter.
There are 2 options for connecting your EOC to your engine.
Hardline kit: For a factory fit and reliability, we use a GM C6 Z06 corvette hardline kit that is modified to connect to the SPEC Corvette radiator. Comes with factory block adapter and snap lock fittings. Pros: Factory style install and no issues rubbing thru lines. Cons: Cannot be installed with motor mounts in.
Braided line kit: We use improved racings black hardlines, fittings and 180 thermostatic block adapter. Pros: Thermostatic activation for oil flow. Can be installed without removing motor mounts, although still a pain but can be done. If you have a lift its much easier. CONS: Less reliable than the hardline kit but great if routed correctly. Designed specifically for the C3 corvette with L88 Hood power bulge as seen in photos and low pressure zones behind the radiator.
Also fits cowl style hood of later C3 corvettes. Please check measurements before ordering or contact us.
Measurements: 15.5" wide and 15.5" tall with V shape.
Includes 1 center section vent with all installation hardware.
WARNING!!! NOTE: The louvers protrude below the hood surface approx. 7/8". Be sure to check hood clearance to assure there will not be clearance issues. Some high rise manifolds and air cleaners may interfere so please check!
